Jinhao X750 (Ivory White)
Jinhao is one of the better known of the Chinese brands and one of those selling at extremely low prices, but the surprise is that the quality is not always ‘cheap and nasty’ and they can provide a very good performance, subject to the vagaries of their (non-existent?) quality control. Of course, the nibs are only stainless steel and any gold plating is thin and prone to wear; sometimes it is non-existent.
The Jinhao X750 falls into the category of a pen with a design that might have been produced anytime between the 1930s and today: rounded but not quite the ‘cigar’ shape so often seen. I’m not aware it is a copy of any other specific pen. It’s a heavy pen due to brass inside the body. Despite the low price, it is a good writer.
