Parker Duofold Centennial (Marbled Maroon)
British made Duofold. The Centennial is a large pen and this had a medium italic nib. Introduced to celebrate Parker’s centenary in 1987, I acquired this around 1990 in a closing down sale at a very good discount. With a medium italic nib it was not an easy pen to use on a day-to-day basis, hence my later purchase of the Sonnet. Its design is a classic however, harking back to the Duofolds of the 1930s. The date code shows this pen was made in Q3/1989. I have since acquired a regular medium nib, which is much easier to write with.
