Conway Stewart Duro (Lapis Blue)

Another ‘modern’ Conway Stewart pen from British Bespoke Pens in a delightful flecked ultramarine colour, called Lapis Blue from Lapis Lazuli, originally the source of ultramarine pigment. The design is based on earlier Conway Stewart Duro pens, the model first being introduced in 1924. It features an 18K gold bi-coloured Flag nib (medium).
The gold fittings are 9K gold and the band is hallmarked as such. This pen does not have any extra metal in the body, so it is comparatively light, at 19 grams, compared to the Churchill (40g) and the Wordsworth (31g). Another superb writer.
