Delike New Moon (Harlequin)
This Chinese pen has a design similar to the Sailor Pro Gear Slim (but a little longer). The resin body has a delightful ‘Harlequin’ pattern which is somewhat translucent and exhibits a beautiful ‘chatoyance’. Like so many Chinese pens, this model is offered in fine or extra fine nibs, as this suits their script. But I ordered this one with a fude (bent) 0.6mm nib. However, as the bend is only at the very tip, the nib does not behave like some other fude nibs used to create very large ‘brush strokes’ as part of a calligraphic approach to character writing. It behaves much more like a European medium nib and it also very smooth. So overall, a delightful pen to use.
