Sheaffer Triumph 440 (Burgundy)
This was bought in 1979. It features Sheaffer’s distinctive inlaid nib and the cap clip has the trade mark white dot. This US pen maker is still going (though no longer manufacturing in the USA) and this style of pen is still produced as the Legacy Heritage model. This pen is fitted with what appears to be an extra fine nib. The Triumph range was very similar to the Imperial range – I think the Imperial was slightly more up-market
