Wing Sung 3008 (Blue)
This is a ‘demonstrator’ pen, as it is fully transparent and all the inner parts of the pen can be seen. It is also a ‘copy-cat’ of the more expensive TWSBI Diamond 580 pen (see Taiwan section), but unlike the latter, even the feed is transparent. Few Chinese pens at this low price feature piston filling, which allows a far greater volume of ink to be used compared to a cartridge converter. The nib is compatible with Lamy nibs, so I have upgraded the pen with a quality German nib, the Lamy broad. The first two images show the pen when filled with ink. As others have noticed, there is a tendency for the cheaply made body to develop hair line cracks, which can be noticeable on a transparent body.
